If you are familiar with Katya Hutter and her work, you know that she has a deep appreciation for roses. Her portfolio encompasses a bespoke collection of luxurious events and wedding floral decorations. Roses take a prominent place among her favourite flowers, evident in the exquisite centrepieces she crafts for various occasions, including this beautiful Christmas table centrepiece with Porta Nova Red Naomi roses

Katya Huntter seamlessly incorporates roses, including the Red Naomi roses, in her daily floral art executions. The allure of her creations extends beyond Christmas celebrations and includes engagement parties, New Year celebrations, winter weddings, and other joyous events. This combination she shares with us is rich and bold and exudes sophistication and elegance.

Just recently, she got a chance to showcase her craft in the Homo Faber Guide, an initiative by the Michelangelo Foundation that champions European craftsmanship. The future is teeming with more exciting opportunities. These include this special festive floral table-scape featuring Porta Nova Red Naomi.

“For this particular design, I selected light blue silk as the backdrop, complemented by cream and gold table linens to allow the Red Naomi roses to command attention. She strategically placed golden accents and pine cones to enhance the festive atmosphere and evoke a sense of luxury. The choice of light blue aligns with Thursd’s recent announcement designating it as the floral colour of the year,” notes Katya.

And adds, “The Red Naomi roses, with their deep red hue and velvety texture, proved exceptional. Arranged in a contemporary style, they formed a natural, organic floral runner, showcasing their beauty in images captured for all to see.”

In terms of technique, a commitment to sustainability and simplicity prevailed. The exquisite flowers found their place in large golden vases and small English porcelain vases, with a nod to the 18th-century design of the unique vintage Aynsley Pembroke vases. Japanese Kenzans were employed for shallow vases, creating distinctive shapes.

Katya incorporated shimmering golden bow ties to infuse a touch of current trends, a playful nod to the prevailing fascination with bow ties in both the wedding and fashion realms. The golden accents adorning red rose garland and candle holders added a contemporary flair.

From Katya, she entends, “Warm wishes for a delightful holiday season to all.”
