During Valentine’s Day, some of Claudia’s clients embrace the spirit of love in grand style, pulling out all the stops to make the occasion unforgettable. This sometimes means giving 101 red roses because it represents an extravagant expression of love and devotion.
“In Romania, we are all about making powerful statements during special occasions,” she says.
Claudia, who works at Anthurium Flower Shop, the oldest and most famous in Constanta in Romania, never ceases to amaze us with her incredible arrangements during the month of love. She recently created this elegant and gorgeous hand tied bouquet she fondly christened a Romantic Reverie, and was kind enough to share the creative process with us.
Making of a Romantic Reverie
To create this hand tied bouquet, I employed a spiral technique, which promotes a natural flow and allows each element to shine individually. I started with lush Porta Nova Red Naomi roses as the centerpiece, capturing the essence of love and romance.
Incorporating painted asparagus added a creative twist, bringing a vibrant pop of color and a unique texture that sets this arrangement apart.
Eucalyptus was then added for its soft, aromatic leaves, contributing both beauty and a refreshing scent. To complete the look, I included Chasmanthium, known for its airy, graceful form, which adds a sense of lightness and movement to the bouquet.
Our clients love when we wrap festive bouquets. For this design, I chose natural paper that not only complements the lush reds but also adds a touch of sophistication.
